Description

A simple, no-knead garlic bread that’s golden on the outside, soft inside, and packed with savory garlic flavor. Perfect for beginners and ideal alongside soups, salads, or as sandwich bread.

Ingredients

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet dry yeast (7 g)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 350 ml warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, dry yeast, salt, and chopped garlic. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until fully combined; the dough will be sticky.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  4. Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish. Gently transfer the dough into the mold without kneading.
  5. Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Dough should remain sticky for proper texture—avoid adding extra flour.
  • Try adding herbs or cheese for extra flavor.
  • Use roasted garlic for a sweeter, milder garlic taste.
