Description
A simple, no-knead garlic bread that’s golden on the outside, soft inside, and packed with savory garlic flavor. Perfect for beginners and ideal alongside soups, salads, or as sandwich bread.
Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 1 packet dry yeast (7 g)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 350 ml warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, dry yeast, salt, and chopped garlic. Mix thoroughly.
- Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until fully combined; the dough will be sticky.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled in size.
- Lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish. Gently transfer the dough into the mold without kneading.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Dough should remain sticky for proper texture—avoid adding extra flour.
- Try adding herbs or cheese for extra flavor.
- Use roasted garlic for a sweeter, milder garlic taste.
