Description

These no-bake homemade crunch bars are crisp, chocolatey, and made with just five pantry staples in one bowl. Ready in minutes, they’re naturally vegan, gluten-free, and perfect for quick snacks or easy desserts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (170 g) dark chocolate chips, dairy-free and vegan
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) natural peanut butter or almond butter, smooth and unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) maple syrup or sugar-free maple-style syrup
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (60 g) crispy rice cereal (gluten-free)

Instructions

  1. Add chocolate chips and nut butter to a large microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth (about 60–90 seconds total).
  3. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Fold in crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a lined small loaf pan or baking dish in an even layer.
  6. Freeze for 10–15 minutes until firm.
  7. Remove, slice into bars, and enjoy.
