Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla.
- Mix in baking soda and salt.
- Stir in oats until combined, then fold in chocolate chips and candies.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep cookies soft.
