Description

A quick and flavorful salmon dish featuring a sweet and savory maple glaze made from real maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and garlic. Bakes in under 20 minutes for an easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (1 pound total)

1/4 cup maple syrup

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and spoon about one-third of the glaze over the top.
  4. Bake the salmon for 15–20 minutes. After 10 minutes, spoon more glaze over the salmon.
  5. Once cooked through and flaky, remove from oven and drizzle with remaining glaze before serving. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
  • Use tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free version.
  • Add lime juice or rice vinegar for brightness.
  • Chopped fresh rosemary or thyme adds an herbaceous touch.
  • Double the glaze for a whole salmon filet or larger portions.
