Ingredients

- a handful of fresh basil leaves, torn
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add butter beans and mix well.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in fresh basil.
- Serve warm with crusty bread.
