This irresistible Ninja Creami smoothie bowl transforms frozen blueberries and banana into a thick, creamy, spoonable treat. Naturally sweetened and dairy-free, it’s a wholesome and refreshing breakfast or snack perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients
- 1.25 cups frozen wild blueberries
- 0.66 medium banana, sliced and frozen
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 to 2 tablespoons almond milk (optional, for respin)
Instructions
- Add the frozen blueberries and frozen banana slices to the Ninja Creami pint container.
- Pour in the almond milk and maple syrup, making sure the liquid reaches the max fill line. Add a splash more almond milk if needed.
- Secure the lid and place the container flat in the freezer for at least 24 hours until completely solid.
- Remove the frozen pint and insert it into the Ninja Creami outer bowl following machine instructions.
- Select the Smoothie Bowl or Lite Ice Cream setting and process the frozen base.
- If crumbly, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of almond milk and use the Re-spin function until smooth and creamy.
- Scoop into a bowl and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For best texture, freeze the base for at least 24 hours before processing.
- Use wild blueberries for a smoother blend, but regular blueberries also work.
- Customize with different fruits or toppings to vary flavors.
- If texture is crumbly after first spin, a quick respin with extra milk makes it creamy.
- Best eaten immediately after spinning for soft-serve texture.
