Description
A creamy, refreshing iced matcha latte infused with vanilla protein powder. This energizing drink is perfect for a low-sugar morning boost or a cool afternoon refreshment with about 10g of protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder (preferably ceremonial grade)
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 scoop (about 20g) vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup ice
Instructions
- In a small bowl or cup, whisk the matcha powder with the water using a milk frother or matcha whisk until fully dissolved and smooth.
- In a serving glass, combine the milk and vanilla protein powder. Froth or whisk until smooth and slightly foamy.
- Add ice to the glass with the milk mixture.
- Pour the prepared matcha over the ice and milk.
- Stir gently to combine and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use oat, soy, cashew, or regular dairy milk depending on dietary preference.
- For a sweeter drink, add 1–2 teaspoons of maple syrup or honey.
- To enjoy warm, skip the ice and use hot water and warm milk instead.
- Shake in a mason jar or blend for a smoother texture if you don’t have a frother.
