Description

These Crack Chicken Tenders are juicy, tender chicken pieces topped with a rich, creamy blend of cheeses and savory seasonings, then baked to golden perfection. Perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings, they deliver bold, comforting flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders (about 1012 pieces)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, dill, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  4. Arrange chicken in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over each tender.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a golden top, watching carefully.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Substitute light cream cheese and mayonnaise for a lighter option.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze cooled tenders for up to 2 months and thaw before reheating.
  • Broiling at the end adds extra color and texture.
