Description
Tender salmon bites roasted and coated in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze. A fast, flavorful dish perfect for weeknights or as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1½-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp hot sauce (e.g., sriracha or chili garlic sauce)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place salmon pieces on the sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 10–12 minutes, until cooked through and flaky.
- While baking, combine honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a saucepan. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened, then remove from heat.
- Transfer salmon to a serving dish and drizzle with hot honey glaze. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust spice by changing the amount of hot sauce.
- Air-fryer: Cook salmon at 390°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes.
- Add lemon juice for brightness before serving.
