Description

Honey Whipped Feta with Pistachio is a creamy, tangy dip made by blending feta and cream cheese until smooth, then topping with honey drizzle and crunchy pistachios. It’s quick, elegant, and perfect for entertaining or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 200 g feta cheese (block in brine preferred)
  • 100 g cream cheese (or thick Greek yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, plus more for finishing
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of salt, if needed
  • ¼ cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • Optional garnish: fresh thyme, mint, or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Crumble feta and soften cream cheese at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, blend feta, cream cheese, honey, lemon juice, and olive oil until smooth, scraping sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust with more honey, olive oil, pepper, or salt if desired.
  4. Transfer whipped feta to a serving bowl or plate.
  5. Drizzle with extra honey and olive oil.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and garnish with fresh herbs if using.
  7. Serve with toasted bread, pita chips, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese for a lighter version.
  • Add chili flakes or chili oil for a spicy twist.
  • Swap pistachios with walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts.
  • Mix in citrus zest or fresh herbs for added flavor.
  • Store in the fridge for 3–4 days; let soften at room temp before serving again.
