Description

Honey garlic chicken wings are oven-baked until crispy and coated in a sticky, sweet, and savory glaze made with honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Perfect for parties, game day, or a flavorful dinner, these wings are irresistibly addictive.


Ingredients

  • 50 chicken wings
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Toss wings in flour, salt, and pepper, shaking off excess. Brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Line a baking pan with foil and parchment. Arrange wings in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes, flipping at the 20-minute mark.
  5. While baking, make the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened and glossy.
  6. Once wings are crispy, toss them in the sauce. Return to oven for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally so the sauce clings evenly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.
