Description
Honey and Soy Sauce Glazed Salmon Bites are tender, flavorful, and coated in a sweet-savory glaze with hints of sesame and sriracha. Perfect for a quick meal or appetizer, they’re juicy, bold, and easy to prepare in under 30 minutes (excluding marinating time).
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust for desired spice level)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 scallions, finely chopped (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and sriracha until combined.
- Add salmon cubes and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated salmon and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened into a glaze.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
- Serve warm over rice or vegetables, or as an appetizer with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use tamari or gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
- Adjust sriracha to control heat level.
- For thicker glaze, simmer marinade longer before adding salmon back.
- Air fry option: 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Best served fresh but can also be enjoyed cold in rice bowls or salads.
