Description

Honey and Soy Sauce Glazed Salmon Bites are tender, flavorful, and coated in a sweet-savory glaze with hints of sesame and sriracha. Perfect for a quick meal or appetizer, they’re juicy, bold, and easy to prepare in under 30 minutes (excluding marinating time).

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust for desired spice level)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and sriracha until combined.
  2. Add salmon cubes and toss to coat evenly. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated salmon and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened into a glaze.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve warm over rice or vegetables, or as an appetizer with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use tamari or gluten-free soy sauce for a gluten-free version.
  • Adjust sriracha to control heat level.
  • For thicker glaze, simmer marinade longer before adding salmon back.
  • Air fry option: 400°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway.
  • Best served fresh but can also be enjoyed cold in rice bowls or salads.
