Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cilantro, olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Add chicken and coat thoroughly with the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat grill to high heat.
  5. Place chicken on the grill and cook for a few minutes on one side.
  6. Flip and move to a cooler part of the grill, cover, and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
