Description
Gooey Oreo Brownie Bars combine a fudgy brownie crust, crushed Oreos, chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk for the ultimate layered dessert. Easy to make and loaded with texture and flavor, they’re perfect for parties, potlucks, or late-night cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 box (18.3 oz) dry brownie mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 20 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped (divided)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment or foil, leaving overhang. Lightly spray with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mix dry brownie mix, softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract until a thick dough forms.
- Press dough evenly into the prepared pan to form a crust.
- Sprinkle about 1 1/2 cups of chopped Oreos over the crust.
- Top with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips.
- Slowly drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the surface. Spread gently if needed.
- Sprinkle remaining Oreos and a few extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes. The center may look slightly underbaked — that’s perfect for a gooey texture.
- Cool completely in pan. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for 1–2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For a twist, use different Oreo flavors or chocolate chip varieties.
- Do not overbake — the bars will continue to set as they cool.
- Chilling before slicing ensures clean, sharp edges.
- Use homemade brownie dough if preferred, but keep the consistency thick.
- Great for freezing — wrap individually for easy grab-and-go desserts.
