Description

Golden Oreo Icebox Cake is a no-bake dessert made with layers of vanilla pudding, whipped topping, and Golden Oreos that soften into a cake-like texture after chilling. It’s creamy, easy to prepare, and perfect for summer gatherings or make-ahead entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 34 vanilla sandwich cookies (Golden Oreos or similar)
  • 8 vanilla sandwich cookies, crushed (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fully combined.
  3. In an 8×8-inch dish, arrange a layer of whole Golden Oreos on the bottom, trimming to fit as needed.
  4. Spread half of the pudding mixture evenly over the cookies.
  5. Add another layer of Golden Oreos on top of the pudding layer.
  6. Spread the remaining pudding mixture evenly over the second cookie layer.
  7. Sprinkle the crushed cookies over the top layer.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight for best results.
  9. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
