Description
Gnocchi with Lemon & Parmesan Sauce is a quick and luxurious dish featuring golden pan-seared gnocchi tossed in a creamy, tangy lemon-Parmesan sauce. It’s comforting, elegant, and ready in under 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 pound store-bought gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it becomes frothy.
- Add the gnocchi and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and lightly crisped.
- Pour in the heavy whipping cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in lemon juice and grated Parmesan.
- Continue stirring until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the gnocchi.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately while warm and creamy.
Notes
- No need to boil gnocchi beforehand—pan-browning adds great texture.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
- Adjust lemon juice for desired tanginess.
- Simmer gently to prevent cream from curdling.
- Add fresh herbs or chili flakes for variation.
