Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate arils
- 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice (about 1 wedge)
- 1/4 teaspoon honey
- 1 1/2 ounces clear base liquid of your choice (e.g., soda water, non-alcoholic spirit, or light juice)
- 4 ounces fizzy spiced beverage (e.g., ginger beer or spiced sparkling water)
- 1 fresh rosemary sprig
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, muddle the pomegranate arils with lemon juice, honey, and your chosen clear base liquid. Gently press to release the juices without crushing the seeds completely.
- Rub the rosemary sprig around the inside of your serving glass to release its oils, then set the sprig aside.
- Fill the serving glass with ice cubes.
- Using a fine-mesh strainer, pour the muddled mixture into the glass to remove solids.
- Slowly top off the drink with the fizzy spiced beverage.
- Garnish with the rosemary sprig and a few extra pomegranate arils.
Notes
- Substitute 1 tablespoon of pomegranate juice if fresh arils aren’t available.
