Description

Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 medium cucumbers (about 8 cups), thinly sliced
  • 1 large white onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the thinly sliced cucumbers in a large bowl.
  2. Add the thinly sliced onion to the cucumbers.
  3. Sprinkle the salt evenly over the mixture and toss to combine.
  4. Let sit for about 2 hours until the vegetables release a significant amount of liquid.
