Ingredients
- 400 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and milk. Let simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
- Gradually add parmesan cheese, stirring until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
