Description

Ingredients

  • 400 g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 450 g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and milk. Let simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Gradually add parmesan cheese, stirring until sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together until combined.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
