Description

These Garlic Butter Beef Rollups are flaky, cheesy, and packed with savory seasoned beef—perfect as an appetizer or quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • Beef Filling:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Dough & Topping:
  • 2 tubes (8 count each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 tablespoons (¼ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned and onion is translucent (8–10 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Place a heaping tablespoon of beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly toward the pointed end. Place seam-side down on prepared sheet.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder. Brush generously over rollups.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Optionally, brush with more garlic butter in the last 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if using. Let cool 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill the dough to avoid bursting during baking.
  • Use parchment paper for easier cleanup and to prevent sticking.
  • Brush with extra garlic butter before serving for more flavor.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, garlic aioli, or mustard-mayo blend.
