Description

This Funfetti Cake Batter Milkshake is a rich, creamy, sprinkle-filled treat that tastes like a birthday cake in milkshake form. Quick to make and festive to serve, it’s perfect for parties or anytime you crave something celebratory.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk (add more for a thinner shake)
  • 1/3 cup dry Funfetti or yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles (preferably jimmies)
  • For topping:
  • Whipped cream
  • Extra sprinkles
  • Optional: a cherry

Instructions

  1. Add vanilla ice cream, whole milk, dry cake mix, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently stir in the sprinkles using a spoon (do not blend them).
  3. Pour the milkshake into chilled glasses.
  4. Top with whipped cream, more sprinkles, and a cherry if desired.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not blend the sprinkles—they will dissolve and lose their color.
  • Microwave dry cake mix for 30 seconds if you prefer to heat-treat it for safety.
  • Chill your serving glasses for extra cold milkshakes.
  • Adjust milk for desired consistency—more for thinner, less for thicker.
