Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 small limes, cut into wedges
  • 3 cups ice (plus more as needed)
  • 2 ounces silver tequila (blanco or white tequila)
  • 1 cup 100% pomegranate juice
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce agave syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate arils (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Spread kosher salt onto a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip into the salt to coat. Set aside.
  2. Add ice, tequila, pomegranate juice, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup (if using) to a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Add extra ice if needed for a thicker texture.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if desired.
  5. Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with pomegranate arils if desired. Serve immediately.
