Ingredients
- 3 large eggs, separated (≈165 g total)
- 1 cup (225 g) cottage cheese
- 1 tsp (4 g) baking powder
- ½ tsp (2 g) cream of tartar (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the eggs, placing yolks in one bowl and whites in another.
- Add cream of tartar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, blend yolks, cottage cheese, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
- Gently fold whipped egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture without deflating them.
- Spoon 6 equal rounds of batter onto the baking sheet and shape as desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and set.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
