Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock), about 150–180 g each
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Pat the fish fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, and oregano.
- Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the fish.
- Place lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and spoon some sauce over the fish before serving.
