Ingredients
2 oranges, peeled
2 lemons, peeled
8 oz fresh turmeric, cut into 1–2 inch chunks
8 oz fresh ginger, cut into 1–2 inch chunks
Pinch of black pepper
½ cup water (adjust as needed for blending)
Instructions
- Add oranges, lemons, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and water to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth into a bowl or jar, squeezing out all the juice.
- Pour the strained juice into shot glasses or store in a container for later use.
- Optional (Juicer Method): Juice all ingredients, then stir in black pepper. No water needed.
Notes
- No need to peel ginger or turmeric—the skins will be strained out.
- Use a kitchen scale for accurate measurement of turmeric and ginger (by weight).
- UV light helps fade turmeric stains on tools—place blender in direct sunlight if stained.
