Description
These Easy Frozen Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a refreshing and wholesome treat combining sweet strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and a crisp chocolate shell. Simple to make and perfect for a light snack or healthy dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or plain)
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar, honey, or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, dark, or chopped chocolate bar)
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix chopped strawberries with Greek yogurt. Add sweetener if using and stir to combine.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the strawberry-yogurt mixture into about 9 clusters on the sheet.
- Freeze the clusters for 1–2 hours or until fully solid.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to help coat fully.
- Place coated clusters back on the baking sheet. Optional: sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
- Freeze again for 20–30 minutes until chocolate is hardened and clusters are firm.
Notes
- Use thick Greek yogurt to ensure the clusters hold their shape.
- To make vegan, use plant-based yogurt and dairy-free chocolate.
- Insert small sticks before freezing for mini popsicle-style treats.
- Customize with different fruits, flavored yogurt, or added nut butter.
- For added crunch, stir in granola, chopped nuts, or seeds before freezing.
