A rich and comforting seafood lasagna layered with creamy white sauce, tender shrimp, crab meat, and cheese. Perfect for special occasions or a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 225 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 225 g crab meat or imitation crab, flaked
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink. Stir in crab meat and remove from heat.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk and cream.
- Simmer sauce for 3–5 minutes until thickened. Stir in lemon juice, Parmesan, and half of the mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in the baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta, seafood, and sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with sauce and remaining mozzarella.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
