Description

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups chicken broth, plus more as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 pound spaghetti
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until fragrant.
  2. Add the butter and stir until fully melted.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, then add the salt and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the spaghetti and cook for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender but still firm. Add extra broth if the pasta begins to stick.
  5. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and dried parsley until the sauce becomes smooth and coats the pasta evenly.
  6. Serve immediately.
