Description

A smooth and tangy creamy French dressing made with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, and herbs for a balanced and versatile salad dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil or neutral oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons finely chopped chives

Instructions

  1. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, olive oil, neutral oil, salt, pepper, water, and chives to a jar or bowl.
  2. Shake in a sealed jar or whisk until smooth and fully emulsified.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning or consistency as needed.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Shake or stir before serving as ingredients may separate.
  • Add honey for a slightly sweeter variation.
  • Use parsley instead of chives for a different flavor.
