Description

These creamy Cajun lobster rolls are rich, buttery, and packed with bold Southern flavor. Warm lobster meat is coated in a silky, mildly spicy Cajun sauce and tucked into toasted brioche buns for an indulgent yet easy seafood sandwich perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 2 brioche or split-top hot dog buns
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons finely diced celery

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add chopped lobster and sauté for 1–2 minutes until warmed through. Remove from heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley until smooth.
  3. Fold the warm lobster into the sauce until evenly coated. Stir in optional garlic or celery if using.
  4. Toast the brioche or split-top buns in a skillet or toaster until golden.
  5. Fill each bun with the creamy Cajun lobster mixture and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use high-quality lobster for best flavor and texture.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to control spice level.
  • Serve chilled for a refreshing twist in warmer months.
  • Store filling separately from buns to avoid sogginess.
  • Fresh lemon zest adds brightness to the flavor profile.
