Description

Bite-sized pieces of biscuit dough dipped in melted butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar, then baked or broiled until golden. These cinnamon sugar biscuit bites are quick, cozy, and irresistibly delicious—perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 ounce / approx. 567 g) tube of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • ½ cup (113 g) melted salted butter
  • 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (≈18 g) ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Open the biscuit tube and cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces. Place pieces 1 inch apart on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 7–10 minutes, or until just cooked through. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a bowl. In another bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Dip each biscuit piece into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon sugar to coat.
  6. Return coated bites to the baking sheet.
  7. (Optional) Broil for 1–2 minutes for a caramelized finish. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  8. Let cool briefly and serve warm.

Notes

  • Broiling adds a crisp caramelized finish but is optional.
  • Use flaky or buttermilk-style biscuit dough for best results.
  • To reheat, use a low oven or microwave briefly, though crispiness may soften.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to 2 days at room temperature.
  • Try adding a drizzle of icing or serve with dipping sauces for extra indulgence.
