Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 3½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and completely dried
- 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or finely chopped chocolate
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill for 30 minutes or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Pat strawberries thoroughly dry and arrange them cut-side down in a tight layer over the crust.
- In a saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until steaming. Pour over chocolate in a heatproof bowl and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth, then add butter and vanilla. Stir until fully incorporated and slightly thickened.
- Pour ganache over strawberries, ensuring even coverage. Tap the dish gently to release air bubbles.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.
- Slice using a warm, clean knife. Top with optional decorations if desired.
