Description
These Chocolate Covered S’mores transform the classic campfire treat into a no-bake, mess-free dessert bar with marshmallow crème, graham crackers, and a rich chocolate coating. Perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you want a handheld sweet snack.
Ingredients
- 16 whole graham cracker squares
- 1 container (7 ounces) marshmallow crème
- 1 package (about 16 ounces) chocolate almond bark or other melting chocolate
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts, sprinkles, or other desired toppings
Instructions
- Place 8 graham cracker squares on a baking sheet.
- Scoop a heaping tablespoon of marshmallow crème onto each cracker.
- Top with remaining graham crackers, pressing gently to form sandwiches.
- Transfer to the freezer and freeze for at least 30 minutes to firm the marshmallow.
- Melt the chocolate almond bark in a heat-safe bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly but remain fluid.
- Remove s’mores sandwiches from the freezer and dip each into melted chocolate, coating both sides. Let excess drip off.
- Place dipped sandwiches on a parchment-lined tray and immediately sprinkle with desired toppings.
- Return the tray to the freezer for at least 30 minutes until fully set.
- Store at room temperature, in the fridge, or enjoy straight from the freezer.
Notes
- Freezing before dipping helps prevent marshmallow crème from oozing out.
- Use any type of chocolate coating—dark, milk, or white—for flavor variations.
- Add toppings like chopped nuts, crushed pretzels, or sea salt before the chocolate sets.
- Use a torch to toast mini marshmallows for a classic s’mores flavor twist.
- Can be made in advance and stored in the freezer for up to 2 months.
