Description
A silky, rich, and creamy mousse made with ripe avocados and raw cacao powder. Naturally sweetened with honey and full of plant-based goodness, it’s an easy, elegant dessert that feels indulgent but is secretly healthy.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 3–4 tablespoons runny honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50g raw cacao powder (about 1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Place the avocados in a food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add 3 tablespoons honey, vanilla extract, and cacao powder. Blend again until fully combined and smooth.
- Taste and add more honey, if desired, blending again after each addition.
- Spoon the mousse into small serving glasses or dessert cups.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to let it set.
Notes
- Use maple syrup or agave instead of honey for a vegan version.
- Top with coconut whipped cream, berries, or shaved dark chocolate for serving.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon, chili powder, or espresso for a flavor twist.
- Best eaten within 2 days; stir before serving if texture firms up.
- Do not freeze — texture may be affected.
