Description

A silky, rich, and creamy mousse made with ripe avocados and raw cacao powder. Naturally sweetened with honey and full of plant-based goodness, it’s an easy, elegant dessert that feels indulgent but is secretly healthy.

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 34 tablespoons runny honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 50g raw cacao powder (about 1/2 cup)

Instructions

  1. Place the avocados in a food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons honey, vanilla extract, and cacao powder. Blend again until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Taste and add more honey, if desired, blending again after each addition.
  4. Spoon the mousse into small serving glasses or dessert cups.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to let it set.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup or agave instead of honey for a vegan version.
  • Top with coconut whipped cream, berries, or shaved dark chocolate for serving.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon, chili powder, or espresso for a flavor twist.
  • Best eaten within 2 days; stir before serving if texture firms up.
  • Do not freeze — texture may be affected.
