Ingredients
- 1 kilogram chicken pieces (bone-in thighs, drumsticks, or breast pieces)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix (about 40 g)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in a medium-sized casserole dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, ketchup, water, and dry onion soup mix. Stir until well blended.
- Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken, coating each piece thoroughly.
- Bake uncovered for 60 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken halfway through.
- Remove from the oven once the chicken is tender and glazed. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

- Add sliced onions or bell peppers to the dish for extra texture.
