Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and Swiss cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and cheese. Stir to combine thoroughly.
- Transfer mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter until well coated.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
