Description

Warm, buttery, and loaded with melted cheese and garlic, this homemade cheesy garlic bread is a comforting side dish that pairs beautifully with pasta, soup, or salad. Crispy on the edges and soft in the center, it’s irresistibly good and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 large French baguette (12 to 14 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place both halves cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt until smooth.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the bread halves.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the cheese mix generously over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden finish, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes, watching carefully.
  7. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
