Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Punch down and divide into 10–12 portions.
- Flatten each piece, add cheese filling, and seal into balls.
- Place seam-side down on a lined baking tray and rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush rolls with egg yolk mixed with milk.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
