Description

Blue Christmas Truffles are festive no-bake treats featuring a creamy vanilla center coated in white chocolate and topped with blue sprinkles or glitter. Their vibrant blue hue and melt-in-your-mouth texture make them perfect for holiday platters, gift boxes, and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Blue gel food coloring (to desired shade)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 2 tablespoons edible blue sprinkles, sanding sugar, or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add crushed wafers or graham crackers, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Add blue gel food coloring a few drops at a time until desired color is reached.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour or freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip chilled truffles into melted chocolate, let excess drip off, then place back on parchment paper.
  8. While coating is still wet, decorate with blue sprinkles or edible glitter.
  9. Let set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring to avoid thinning the mixture.
  • If the dough is too soft, chill before rolling.
  • For a shortcut, roll uncoated truffles in powdered or sanding sugar.
  • Decorate immediately after dipping to ensure toppings stick.
