Description

Bananarama Pancakes with Maple are soft, naturally sweet pancakes made with ripe bananas and pure maple syrup. They’re quick, wholesome, and perfect for a comforting breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • Butter, for cooking
  • Extra pure maple syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  2. Mix in flour, egg, and maple syrup until a batter forms.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  4. Pour about 2 tbsp batter per pancake into the skillet. Cook 1 minute per side, until golden.
  5. Repeat with remaining batter.
  6. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.

Notes

  • Add cinnamon or vanilla extract to the batter for extra flavor.
  • Replace part of the flour with oat flour for a heartier texture.
  • Top with fresh berries, nuts, or extra banana slices for a special touch.
  • Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and texture.
