- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced bananas with brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, lemon juice, cornstarch, and salt until evenly coated.
- Spread the banana mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the crumble topping.
- Add cold butter cubes to the dry ingredients and use your fingers or a fork to cut it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the banana filling.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling at the edges.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
