Ingredients
- 2 pounds mushrooms (shiitake, cremini, or button), cleaned and halved if large
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and lightly crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, adjusted to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the mushrooms in a large bowl.
- Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, crushed garlic, black pepper, and salt.
- Toss until mushrooms are evenly coated.
- Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring garlic is distributed.
- Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until tender and browned.
- Remove from oven and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
