Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados (about 2 cups flesh)
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 to 4 tablespoons dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
- If using chocolate chips, melt them gently and blend into the mixture.
- Spoon into serving dishes and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
