Description

These air fryer potato slices are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and quick to make with just a few pantry staples. They’re a delicious, healthier alternative to deep-fried snacks and make the perfect side dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes, washed and thinly sliced (about 1/8 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Wash potatoes thoroughly and slice into 1/8-inch rounds. Peeling is optional.
  2. Place slices in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano.
  3. Toss well to evenly coat the slices.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak slices in cold water for 20 minutes, then dry thoroughly before seasoning.
  • Add Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes for a cheesy version.
  • Use cayenne or chili powder for a spicy kick.
  • Avoid overcrowding to ensure crisp results.
