Description
These air fryer potato slices are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and quick to make with just a few pantry staples. They’re a delicious, healthier alternative to deep-fried snacks and make the perfect side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 4 medium russet potatoes, washed and thinly sliced (about 1/8 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Wash potatoes thoroughly and slice into 1/8-inch rounds. Peeling is optional.
- Place slices in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano.
- Toss well to evenly coat the slices.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak slices in cold water for 20 minutes, then dry thoroughly before seasoning.
- Add Parmesan cheese during the last 2 minutes for a cheesy version.
- Use cayenne or chili powder for a spicy kick.
- Avoid overcrowding to ensure crisp results.
