Description

This air fryer honey banana tahini toast is a warm, sweet, and nourishing snack made with caramelized bananas, creamy tahini, and a drizzle of honey over crispy toast. It’s quick, vegetarian, and easily made gluten-free.


Ingredients

  • 1 slice sourdough bread (or bread of choice)
  • 12 tablespoons tahini
  • 6 slices banana
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh chopped mint (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread tahini evenly over the slice of bread.
  2. Layer banana slices on top of the tahini.
  3. Drizzle honey over the bananas and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Place the toast in an air fryer at 400°F and cook for 6–7 minutes, until bananas are caramelized and toast is crispy.
  5. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 10 minutes.
  6. Top with bee pollen or chopped mint if using. Serve warm.

  • Use ripe bananas with brown spots for best caramelization.
  • Swap tahini for almond, peanut, or sunflower butter if desired.
