Description

This 3-Ingredient Chocolate Protein Mug Cake is a quick, flourless, high-protein dessert made in minutes using just protein powder, egg, and cocoa powder. Rich, moist, and chocolatey, it’s the perfect single-serving treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 scoop (30 g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon (16 g) unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease an 8–10 oz microwave-safe mug with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
  2. Add protein powder, egg, and cocoa powder to the mug.
  3. Stir thoroughly until completely smooth and no dry powder remains.
  4. Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds, checking at 60 seconds. The top should look set but slightly soft in the center.
  5. Let rest for 1–2 minutes before eating to allow it to finish setting.

Notes

  • Do not overcook to avoid a rubbery texture.
