Ingredients
- 4 medium flour tortillas (20 cm / 8 inches each)
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 170 g)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stack tortillas and cut into triangle-shaped chips.
- Arrange the tortilla pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet without overlapping.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the tortilla chips.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and tortilla edges are golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 2–3 minutes to crisp up further.
- Serve warm or cool completely for extra crunch.
Notes
- Sprinkle dried oregano or basil over the cheese before baking for a pizza flavor boost.
- Use thin tortillas for crispier chips.
- Swap mozzarella with another mild melting cheese if preferred.
- Best eaten fresh but can be reheated in the oven if needed.
